Makes a perfect lil sister to the 45-70 huh?

Seriously the 444 was my first lever and for some totally unexplained reason is my favorite lever chambering.

350 gr cast at 2100 fps? Hammer!

Well, I don't know about bad, but the acquisitions are pretty interesting.

Can you imagine? Me a whelen?

Oh well!

What is bizarre is he sold a 45-70 to get a .444. Said he had 1 too many .45's. So now it's a .45 and a .44.

that's WHAT YOU GET FOR TRYING TO FIGURE OUT ME DISEASE!

Bout time you got a Whelen :) Hope you stocked up on 225 gr Accubonds and maybe some 200 gr Ab's for antelope.

And on the lighter side, the Speer 180gr usually used for the 35 Rem are surprisingly tough. The one I used to take a decent 9pt also went through the 6" sapling behind the deer.

1 box 225 AB's and 4 boxes 225 PT's

Those will keep you going for a while! The other guns are really nice too especially the 444 marlin.

I am more excited about the 444 that the other 3 put together!
