My favorite rifle to this point has always been a model 70

My favorite rifle has always been a model 70
(pre-64 action)
I love that action!
Nothing says silky smooth like a CRF model 70 action.
Unfortunately Winchester model 70's are no longer made in USA which is a big deal to me.
I was extremely impressed with the new Weatherby when I checked it out.
I was buying it either way as I've always just wanted to have a 30 Kong...
To my surprise the first thing I noticed was the Mark V is made in USA!!! That may not be that new but I haven't looked at a Mark V in a looong time.
Then after seeing the fit and finish I got even more excited. This thing is outstanding so far.
Now I'm in a dilemma on rings and bases.
I NEVER go cheap but do I get quick release like cross slot type or the old school cam in front rear dovetail style.
That question is occupying my brain this weekend !
