A buddy heard I was trying to get together the funds for a 243 and offered to sell me this one....(no price disclosed yet). It is a cool old rifle, but I dont think Im interested. Just posting here as eye candy. Couple questions:

How old would you guess. I'd say late 60's?

Check out the banded barrel, like a pre - 64 Win
Also, I hate to say it but the Aluminium but plate is kinda cool. Might not be original but it is fitted very well.

Bolt handle is held on with a big slotted screw.
What would yousay it was worth?

Some of you have one....What do you think? CL

Very cool rifle, my brother in law has one and the stock is awsome. I"m no help on price though. Sorry

I would offer 250. No more. It is a nice piece though.

Hell I would take it for 250.00 that is a nice old rifle for sure!

I had a highschool buddy who had one in 270. He killed lots of deer and elk both with it and the only problems I remember him having were a) having to replace the magazine spring as the original had lost its strength and b) having a case split in the chamber because he was too cheap to rotate out his brass as often as he shouldve. ;)

Looks like a nice old gun!
