I’m thinking about adding these to the lineup. They are custom with any picture under the crystal playing surface. They will have turkey tracks hand etched in the crystal and be fully useable if someone so desired to condition a section of the crystal. This is one I made as a gift for Dan’s (Wvbuckbuster) grandson when he killed his first bird. But now I’m thinking they could be marketable. What’s y’all’s opinion?

Very good idea with custom keepsake callers.
Just curious on how long it take you to make one of your calls. They look spectacular. 👍
Usually about 10 days, but most of that time isn’t “hands on” it’s waiting on finish to cure between coats and glue to dry and giving the finish 3-4 days to fully cure so the clamps used for gluing won’t leave marks in the finish. Actual hands on time is probably 6-7 hours.

Howie did a great job on Landon's call he made. Landon looked at it for a few days then couldn't stand it any longer and tried it out. Scratched a small spot on the bottom and liked the sound. A treasure he'll keep for years. Thanks, Howie. Dan.
Thanks Dan! That's awesome, glad Landon likes it and it works well for him.

that will work, but when ya find time, would like to have a slate in a pot like your pic above
thanks
Never made a slate in Zebrano wood before. It’ll be a one of a kind, and I think it’ll sound great! One way to find out. When I get the new bearings in the lathe and my dust collection system upgraded, I’ll get right on it.
