QL Request and/or Pet Loads for ETIP

Hi There,
I'm hoping to develop a 168 g Etip load for my new .300WSM Sako 85. Could somebody please run a Quickload for me. The powders I have on hand are N550, N560, IMR4831, RL17, H4350, and IMR4350. Alternatively, has anyone found a pet load (with velocities) I can try using the 168 g Etips (for any powder). Thanks.

Thanks Doc,
Deciding which weight of monolithic to use has been challenging (moose is the primary quarry). With my previous .300WSM, I settled on a 180TTSX. However, some, including noted gunwriter John Barsness, think the 150 g monolithics may be the way to go for all large, non-dangerous North American grain. I can't bring myself to go that light.
 
I believe the 168 will perform wonderfully on moose. I wouldn't hesitate to use it out of my 300 WSM. I have used the 130 grain E-Tip out of my 270 WSM to take moose and elk, and it performed quite well. The 168 from the 300 is just more of a good thing. Of the data generated, I'd likely lean toward the N550 or N560. However, I'll not be surprised if you get better accuracy with the 550 than the 560.
 
I played around with 168 ET's and RL17 with about the same data posted for you with RL19.. It was very slow compared to what was published. I haven't continued with load work with the 168 ET's as I found a great load with the 180 AB's, but I would have hunted happily with the 168 ET. great BC and excellent speeds. Plus, the bullet will probably weight 167 grains if it was ever captured by an animal. Good luck. Looking forward to hearing how you make out. Scotty
