Ruger M77 stock?

My 22-250 is the newer 3 position safety model with a plastic stock. Where would be the best place to find a wood stock and what would be a fair price? I think the stainless action/barrel would look great in wood and it would be better than the cheap plastic. Any thoughts or ideas?

I have had really good luck on Ebay but you need to know what you are looking at. I have bough a couple of like new factory stocks for reasonable prices on Ebay.

I think I would need a stock to fit a long action and it can not have the old tang safety. Is that correct?

If it is a 22-250, it would be a short action and you are correct a non tang safety stock.

Boyds might be a place to look as well.

There are others available as well, and if you shop around a bit you might find a nice walnut stock for it.
