Shed hunting

Finally getting some snow melt and we had a warm day. Headed up High Valley looking for some sheds. We didn’t find a thing! But we had a good workout.

The girls appear to be happy just to be out and exploring. It almost appears as if spring is on the way.

The bucks here are just starting to drop horns. Snow cover will be gone next weekend and we will scour the bedding and feeding areas.

Yes we are just starting to see some of the mule deer drop their antlers. Tried to get a pic 2 days ago of a nice, (twice as wide as his ears) 6x6 walking around with one antler hanging down over his nose. Neighbor found the left side in his yard yesterday . The snow capped mountains in the back ground are the Elkhorns. We must be in a good spot!
