Was wondering who would initiate this thread!

Myself: 0 (so far...perhaps some day!)
 
If Javelina count: 7.82 Patriot XP-100, 357 Magnum revolver, and I killed several warthog with my 357 mag revolver.

Below is all with rifles, that are not mine.
Hogs: 223 Remington AR-15 (Using prototype mono's), 308 Win Bolt Rig, AR-10 in 308 Winchester.
Both of the 308's I used Hornady TAP with the 168 grain A-Max.
Multiple hogs, all at night, all spot and stalk, no lights.
Sometimes one at a time. Some synchronized shooting at the same hog, while at other times synchronized shooting at different hogs (That is challenging with moving animals). Emphasis on fun and varmint removal, while practicing shoot on demand, while under pressure. Some prone, off of a fence post, and off of a tri-pod.
 
458 SOCOM and the Barnes 300 TTSX bullet. This rig drops pigs fairly quick with a typical "in-the-crease" impact. I never hit one in the head or neck with the 300gr Barnes but I would suspect that it would result in an immediate "lights out" reaction. :D
 
204 Ruger 32gn Vmax (would not recommend this caliber for hogs)

Only one, roughly 37-38 years ago. One shot through the heart at about 40 yards. Ruger 77 tang safety, 1-4x Leupold, 300 Win Mag with handloaded 180 grain Nosler Partition. Ha! I still have that hat, and it's still warm. :)

Was that hog shot with a 308 or 30-06?

30-30,222,243,6mm,25-06 and 7mag.Shot placement is the key.Make the first shot count and try to put them down with one shot.

They make it easy to do. Once I got more experience with them I found that about 1" behind the ear and down about 1" would be a DRT shot as it took out the spine. Made it easy to remove the head later as well.
 
At the time (2007), this was the largest hog take on Vandenberg AFB, CA. I took this one with the 45 Cal muzzle loader. We had to check in deer and hogs with the base conservation office. This guy weighed in at 288lbs field-dressed with legs still attached. His cartilage or whatever it is "we called it armor plating" between the skin and ribs was roughly 2.5" thick.
