Winchester supreme 780 with 180gr Accubond 300 WM

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had any good luck with supreme 780 powder and 180gr BTs out of a 300 win mag.

I plan on using AccuBond and ballistic tip while working up the loads.

Welcome to the board.

Supreme 780 is the identical ball powder loaded in Winchester’s factory Supreme® ammunition including 243 Win, 270 Win, and 300 Win Magnum.

never used it in 300 wm but in the 270 wsm it is great. and also in my 243 win it is doing very well

I have been wanting to try W780 for awhile. I guess I am chicken since I am worried Winchester/Hogdon will nix it and I will be left high and dry with a powder I love and can no longer find, like H870! It does get some really good speeds out of all those mentioned and there is good load data for the 270WSM also. Scotty

I still have eight pounds of WMR and seven pounds of WXR. So, to keep things on the up-and-up, I have about four pounds of Supreme 780.
