Was reading about trigger over travel on another site and he was complaining about it affecting his accuracy.
I’m not a bench rest shooter so 1”-1 1/2” accuracy at 100 yards will serve my purposes where I hunt but am curious what the thoughts are from those who do some serious shooting.
Is the bullet gone from the rifle before the over travel is completed or is it still in the process of being fired?
If there is a negative affect, is there any way for the shooter to compensate for it short of adjusting or replacing the trigger?

Well...I think trigger over travel would be worse on accuracy than
the speed of light but have a lesser effect than the rotation of the earth.
