Been looking and reading the stats on this gun and was wondering if anyone here has this and how do you like it pros and cons. Thanks, Dan.

Dan
Someone here recently purchased a Range Officer and loves it. I forget who that is at the moment.
I carried a Springfield 1911 on duty for years and own a Springfield TRP. I've nothing but good to say about them.

Went and bought it yesterday. Haven't had time to get to the range yet. It is very tight. Took apart and cleaned, re-lubed today. Hope to start braking it in Saturday. I did tell my wife, Dan.

I’m jealous, it looks to be an excellent pistol.

Been shooting the ro every chance I get and have put about 500 rounds thru it both factory and reloads. It has a tendency to not go full into battery every now and then and not always having shot the same amount of rounds. Feeds fine just won't chamber quite fully sometimes. It is very tight slide to frame fit and I think just need to put a few more thru it. Love everything about it except for this but its getting better. Hope it gets broke in before I ware it out ha ha. Dan.

Little update. Have put about 900 rounds thru it now and it is running well and going into battery. Guess it just took longer to break in than most. I like it a lot! Dan. (y)

Excellent! Glad it's working well for you. Must be a real pleasure to shoot.

Yes Guy it is. Still like my .45's but seem to be picking this one up more. I like the 1911 style so it fits right in. Dan.

Just when I thought it was running fine the front site starting sliding in the dovetail then not fully chambering . So sent back to Springfield. They replaced roller pin, adjusted extracter, recut and polished feed ramp and pinned the front site. Ran 8 mags thru it today no problems. Hope it's fixed now. Dan.
