Going to my 80 year old uncles place tomorrow to begin the transfer process of having him transfer this handgun to me. He has 3 clips for it and is the original owner. He has the original box with serial number on it. He is in the process of disposing of his collection and offered to give me this gun.Any thoughts on this gun? Maybe I'll join the gun club again and have more to do with our long winters.

I used to shoot some competition with a .22 pistol, mostly semi-formal matches. The really in-to-it shooters who shot many more matches than I did, usually shot a modified, accurised Model 41 S&W. They are a neat pistol and need very little work to make them shoot really accurately. That will be a great gift to receive!

S&W's Model 41 is legendary for accuracy.
Should turn out to be quite a pistol. Every one I've shot was an excellent target pistol.
