Some different types of bullets used. I also included a 50yd repair center to show what we shoot at.
I have and use more brands than shown I also cast my own .45 cal. 160gr,185gr and 200gr. lead bullets.

Excellent photo spread, Rodger. One question, however. How have you managed to have a handgun that is new, unfired and in the box?

DrMike; That particular hand gun was purchased to take to Camp Perry and used for the distinguished revolver matches and I broke my ankle the year I was planning on going so I never got a chance to shoot it and I'm not sure if I'll ever get back to Camp Perry or should I say get back in shape to shoot at the level of competition I use to. Standing for hours on concrete and uneven ground is hard on the feet and I haven't shot that type of competition since the ankle was broke. So it has been resting in my safe waiting it's turn to show me what it can do. I have the M14 to shoot until I get my competitive health back.

I was yanking your chain, Rodger. I am awed by your level of expertise with handguns. I think it is great and commend you for your dedication to the art of hand-gunning. Glad the ankle healed (I recall it was a long haul) and look forward to hearing that you are able to return to what you enjoy. I'm pulling for you.

Thanks DrMike; I sort of figured you were but every question deserves an answer.
In precision hand gun shooting like precision rifle the shooter is only as good as his equipment so I can't take credit for everything, granted I do load my ammo and I did practice a lot to get to the level of competitiveness I was shooting but the equipment makes or brakes you.

Just a side not about the pistol shown here. They all shoot 1" groups out of a machine rest at 50yds. You need that kind of accuracy out of your guns to be competitive.

Wow, what a great line up, those are beautiful, thanks for showin them. !!!!!

I have almost that level of accuracy from my rifles...

Thanks for the glimpse into the world of competition handguns!

Regards, Guy

Elkman and Guy thanks for the complements.
Guy your too modest. I'll bet your rifles will do better than that at 100yds
