I went down the street to gun world earlier today and was comparing the VARI-X III to the VX-III in 6.5x20 and could see no visual difference between them opticly speaking of with clairity or brightness.I admit I was surprised after reading and hearing so much about the Index matched lenses of the VX-III.I figure the only advantage would be the side focus.Has anyone else compared the two type's and come to a different conclusion?
