I just picked up a Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 at cabelas in the bargain cave for $300. There were several PST scopes in various magnifications in the bargain cave, might be worth checking out if any of you live near a cabbalas.
My buddy has this same scope on his AR15 and I have shot with it quite a bit. They are very good scopes for the AR15 platform. Good glass, great eye relief, great adjustment repeatability, and comes with zerostop shims. Pretty hard to beat for a close/medium range scope.
