Home made zero stop

Machined a zero stop for my Leupold today. Fits snug on the turret and doesn't spin, has about 0.040" of tension holding it in place. Made it to allow me to dial 5MOA down from my zero. Worked out pretty slick

I've made a few similar to those for various different scopes. They work as good as anything IMO.
 
I use .99 cent rubber hose gaskets for my SWFA SS's... they work like a champ.

I figured it's cheap insurance to make sure I'm not off a revolution from my zero when I get a trophy tag in my pocket. I still cant understand why Leupold hasn't come out with one yet.
