Need to scope my Remington 783 Tactical in .223. I've narrowed it down to these two as I don't want to spend very much money on this scope. I've never owned a Burris but I have several Bushnells and none have had any issues. Please share your thoughts...

Burris would be my choice. The Trophy is the new banner model for Bushnell.
The Burris is made in the Philippines and the Bushnell is Chinese.

I really like the Burris scopes. I have used a Droptine quite a bit recently and an older Fullfield F1 (I think) - good scopes, tough, good glass.

My only concern with the E1 was that the reticle was very fine in SFP. I had the same reticle in a FFP Veracity and it was great - simple enough to use and not overly cluttered.

The E1 is a nice trim scope.

I don't have any experience with the Bushnell Trophy Xtreme line however I am strongly considering a Bushnell Nitro in the same magnification for a Ruger 77/17 in 17SWM.
