I got it yesterday and started scrubbing on the barrel, beautiful on the outside, but I'm afraid it is pitted on the inside. I can kinda see rifling. Only paid 80.00 so not out a lot. Any trick to clean the barrel up? Anyone ever mount a peep sight on one of these?

JB bore paste will help you out some! Give it a whirl. Hope u can get it cleaned up they can be good shooters, I had one once!

Killed my 1st deer with a TC Thunderhawk Carbine w/thumbhole stock.

If it's fairly rough I would go to the auto parts store and get some valve grinding compound, make 20 or so passes, clean it and then go to jb bore paste. I use valve grinding compound to lap revolver barrels and polish shotgun barrels.
