I have a had made period holster coming for my Army .44 and it will be horse hide, tough stuff and has great look to it. Here are a few pictures of my gun and this one really shoots good.

Great! I like those ol' Cap 'n Ball percussion revolvers. Very interesting guns. Dad has an old Colt that he rescued from a slaughter house where it was being used to dispatch cattle! Despite all the use, it's in good shape. We haven't shot it in many years though.
