Holsters

For revolvers what is your favorite manufacturer? I just discovered FIST holsters and ordered one for my Smith model 60 Pro. Now I'm looking a bit more for a holster for my 6" 686.

What are you going to use the holster for? Are you going to try to conceal it?

I don't think I would try to conceal the 686 but do like a close fitting belt holster. I won't carry it except while bow hunting etc... But the cheap neoprene one I have is too floppy.

I still prefer a bandolier style for a hunting rig. It may very well be just me and a limited number of others, but hip/belt rigs just don't work. That extra weght hanging on my hips, just really tire out my legs all the much quicker. And even at times be painful on the hips themselves.
Maybe it's just part of getting older
