I think I am going to upgrade the scope on my S&W 629 Classic 44 Rem Mag with a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x3mm.

Upgrade? You need to ask? What gives? Of course upgrade! Is there a more expensive option? Take it! Consequently, nice looking scope.

Ha, I should have known!

Anyone used one? I assume it should be pretty good in low light.

Should I go Matt or SIlver finish?

That is exactly what I was thinking. That is why I asked. I currently have an old M8 2x Silver finish mounted on my S&W.

I have used them,,,,still prefer the constant ER of the Bushnell myself,,,even though the clarity aint as good..

My good buddy just put the Bushnell you told me about on his 44. Excellent scope. Eye relief is awesome all the way through and man, it is clear as Rocky Mountain water. Like that scope alot. It really allows you to stretch the 44 a little..
