Was in a local gun shop today. The had a Dan Wesson 44 mag for sale. It was stainless but had been not particularly well taken care of, but not used as a tire iron either. Monson made.

It has three barrel shrouds (4, 6, & 8 inches), 5 barrels (one 4 inch, two 6 inch and two 8 inch). The six and eight inch shrouds appeared ported and two of the barrels had what appeared to be porting holes about 1 inch from the end.

Leupold 2 x pistol scope, couple extra sets of wooden grips.

All for $750.

A pretty good deal I thought. I already have one of these without all the barrels and shrouds. The accessories almost pulled the $$$ out, but it will be there another day.

If I did not already have this. Have not shot it much in the past decade, but it certainly loves the 300 gr bullets going full speed. The porting at the end and the weight of the pistol and scope make it an easy shooter. Monson gun.

Very nice. I had one in blue I picked up in Germany in 1992
