His and Hers 1911's.
Mine is a Kimber Tactical Pro II 45 ACP with a Crimson Trace laser grip, hers is a Springfield EMP in 9mm. Both are shooters. Ya just gotta love the feel of a 1911.

LOVE it! My situation is a his and his and hers and hers. I have the Springer RO .45 and Kimber SS Ultra Carry 9mm, hers are a Smith 442 .38 with CT grips and an M&P Shield 9mm.

Nice Jim. If you need a soft ball load for her let me know I reload a lot of .45acp and have several easy on the hand loads.

Thanks fellas. I load for the 45, 230 vr FMJ with 5.3 grs W231. Both of my daughters and Sue like shooting my Kimber. It has me worried.

As well it should be worrisome! I foresee several new Kimbers in the near future.

Very nice.
When my wife was starting out she selected the Glock 19 as her home defense handgun.
I in turn carried my Glock 19 and Glock 26. I did this so I could arm her if she wasn't carrying and could know that she was competent with it. Much like you are doing Jim with both of you using the same platform. In my opinion that's a smart move.
Since my wife is having shoulder issues we are transitioning her to the model 65 loaded with 38 Special. I'll carry the 58. [emoji4]

Nice...

And yes, be worried. The day I found out my youngest son shot a 1911 better than any other handgun he'd tried... I knew I was doomed to buy him one.
