Over the past two days, a few shooters showed up for two Basic Handgun classes, and dang, I was impressed! Folks came with good guns, good ammo, good holsters. Others came with nothing but a good attitude. They all did well. Some better than others, but... Wow! Nice.

I made sure the classroom portion was much warmer:

Good mix of men and women in each class. Some folks with pretty good basic handgun skills, some complete new shooters. Today I had a lot of new shooters, so everyone started off with my 22 semi-auto Ruger 22/45 pistol. Then out came the 380, 9mm, 38 Special & 40 S&W handguns! I shot some 45 as well.

10 people got their first formal handgun instruction this weekend. Safety. Accuracy. I feel good about that.

Regards, Guy

Looks great Guy! I took three guys to the range Saturday.

One of the three owned a Glock 19.
One rented a Sig 9mm carry gun.

I brought a Sig 229 and a Kimber 1911 Target II.

The G19 guy shot great and did a really sound job keeping his brother safe.

They went back to Detroit and had a wild Game dinner. I went to the local SCI chapter meeting. Auctions were great. 76 trips went. I didn’t get a hunt, but got a Marlin 336XLR
(3030Win, grey Laminate, Stainless, 24” barrel.). My wife asked how many tickets I bought. Happy it was 7.

Looks like fun Guy! I have a feeling you put on a good course. I liked the one video that you did. I'll have to research some more if you have made any more yet.

Haven't made another one yet. Likely in March.
