Had four shooters coming to train with me this morning. One shoots only revolvers, so I thought Id better brush up on my revolver skills before their arrival.

First three shots of the day at 25 yards, double action, with full power 44 magnum loads:

I felt pretty good about that. Did some more 44 shooting, then to the 38's for a bit, and finally of course to the 45 ACP 1911:

Had "leftovers" of three different batches of 44's to shoot.

250 cast over AA#9
240 JSP over W296
250 cast over Unique - a fairly mild load and a favorite of mine going back 30+ years. Unique and a cast lead bullet will sure dirty-up a revolver in a hurry! :)

Felt pretty good about the 44 work, I really don't shoot it all that much, but have always liked S&W 629's. This 5" version is just about perfect for me.

The 45 ACP was loaded with Nosler's 185 gr JHP competition bullet and W231. Very nice shooting, accurate combo.

Relied on a box of factory 38's for some reason. They worked fine.

Regards, Guy
