Dog and I enjoyed a one-night camping trip along the Icicle River, near Leavenworth Washington. Autumn has reached this higher country. It was very pleasant, despite raining about half the time:
Heading up into the Icicle River Gorge:
The river, flows are low this time of year, and the fishing for pan-sized trout can be excellent!
Camp Miner:
Just about nap time for both of us!
We did a little hiking, about 4 miles along a beautiful trail, on Saturday morning. Very nice. Then it was time to head for home:
I did no hunting or fishing on this trip, just enjoyed being out there, enjoying the fall. It's not at all far from where I live, less than 50 miles. Well worth the time & fuel. Hope everyone gets out to enjoy.
Regards, Guy
