 Just wanted to comment on the forum. I have reading here for quite awhile now and find this to be an informative and well run site. It does not have some of the conflict that some others have between posters. Thanks for all of the effort.

Welcome to the best forum on the net. I agree with you, I frequent a few other hunting/shooting forums and see a lot of flaming going on if your methods or equipment don't meet their idea of appropriate. One in particular seems to think the RUM calibers are a total waste and compete overkill. I say screw them, I like my RUMs.

Welcome to the forum, glad you have joined us here.

This is a great site, lots of good fellas here with a lot of knowledge and willing to share.
What are you shooting and loading for?

I shoot mostly long range pistols.
7 JDJ 12.5" Contender
6.5 mini-dreadnought 15"encore
30-06 15" Encore
270 rifle
260 rifle
Load for all and have beginnig late 60's
I have found the pistols more of a challenge as it takes longer to get on target and distance depends on quality of rest. Longest shot to date on game 250 yds with pistol. The Mini-dreadnought is new have loaded fireform loads but have not shot yet as I am still raising money for scope.

I have a T/C Contender with Georgia Jim wood, T/C 7x30 Waters 14" barrel and a SSK 6.5 JDJ with a 14" barrel. Both are tack drivers. I have shot the 6.5 JDJ on paper out to 300 yds.
