My wife is an old time cook and loves making Donuts on Shrobe Tuesday here's one of the first pictures as she cuts them out getting them ready for the frier, frying and the finished product.
She makes these from a handed down recipe made with mashed potatoes and no preservatives.

Looks delectable, Rodger. A tradition that is well nigh forgotten, it seems.

Rodger, tell your wife that those donuts look delicious it is just impossible to beat homemade baking from our generation and our parents' and grandparents'!!
It was my granddaughter's 10th birthday yesterday and my wife made home Texas brownies they were great. Lily took 36 pieces to school and they were a hit.

Blessings,
Dan

Careful, Vince, I hear that after eating all those donuts he will be looking for more!

We gave away 4 dozen and still have 2 dozen left and I ate 6 this mourning while they were still warm.
I'm glad it only comes once a year(Shrobe Tuesday).
