Made "breakfast for dinner" last night.

Four patties of bear sausage from the bear I shot Sept 1st.

Six-egg omelet with cheese & salsa.

Cut up fresh fruit.

Sourdough toast.

Oh goodness, it was good! The bear sausage was excellent! (y)

Man, that sounds like an excellent repast, fit for a king. What recipe are you using for your bear sausage, Guy? Did you mix in pork or suet?

Are you feeding a boy scout troop?

Sounds awesome Guy! I figured it would be pretty darn good. I imagine you take good care of your meat and that is half the battle!!

Dang that sounds good. I know where a bear is hanging out, eating apples and what little is left of some elk, bear sausage would be good.

Guy, as usual that sounded like a meal fit for a king  a few photos of it would have made our mouths water even more !

Guy that does look delicious I still have not had the privileged of dining on Bear Sausage  but hope to one day soon .

Bear sausage is awesome. I mix a little home grown pork fat in with it but the brats and Italians I made last year were a hit. Bear ham is a favorite of mine as well. More flavorful than a straight pork one.... especially when you shoot them off the mountain and they've been eating blueberries for a month!
