Fried cabbage and venison.

Guess hunting season's over so now my attention is on food. :grin: Tonight was a head of cabbage chopped up, put in a deep frying skillet with plenty of grease because the cabbage sucks it up as it cooks. The oil used was half lard, half coconut oil. Gotta keep it healthy you know. :mrgreen: Plus believe it or not I've done that before with different things including eggs, and that combination makes a nice blend of flavor.

While stirring the cabbage off the bottom periodically a lb of venison burger was browned in a separate pan in olive oil with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder. When the hamburg was done it was put in the cabbage that was just finishing up and was stirred all through. Both my wife and I went back for seconds and thirds. Good.
