Thanks to all the prayers from everyone and the great skills of some very good doctors and nurses I brought my wife home from the hospital today.
She is doing well but still a little weak.
Some rest and good home cooking will bring her around to her old self quickly.
Again thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.

Good home cooking will go a long way toward helping anyone toward wholeness. Good report, Rodger.

Rodger thank you for the update on Jane (y), there is nothing like home to make a person feel better and some of your excellent cooking will just help her along quicker .
We are praying that Jane makes a full recovery also we will continue to pray for that knee of yours to come around as well.

Blessings,
Dan

April I have Elk and deer tags so I shouldn't come home empty hand but anything can happen when hunting and it's all part of the chances one takes.

The wife was asking for pizza while in the hospital so for lunch I ordered up a nice cheese pizza for her lunch today. For dinner I will put some turkey breast steaks on the grill along with some veggies.

Just got back from the pulmonary specialist today and the wife is doing well though there is still some congestion lingering in her left lung. They want to do a full function test and some more xrays to make sure there is no lingering infection.
She is improving every day and has finally figured out how sick she really was and that the recovery isn't going to happen over night but she will recover with no complications hopefully.

I too appreciate knowing things are improving. Also was curious about the malady that sent her to the hospital. Distressed breathing is scary!

What started out as a suspected stomach virus ended up being Legionela pneumonia which intern caused her to go into Afib and they had to stop her heart twice to get it back into sinus rhythm. It was a very scary time and nit and tuck for a while.
Legioela is a form of Legionnaires disease that can be contracted from water vapor that is infected or carrying the bacteria. Even a public water fountain can harbor it.
