If you left your elk rifle just off the road in the cowichie unit this morning in Washington State. It has been picked up and given to the game warden. It will be at region 3 office tomorrow. You are welcome

Damn, that’ll sting a little. Good on you for turning it in though.

Bummer when you stalk up on a killer 8x8 elk, put your hand to your trusty Sherpa expecting your trusty 375 H&H, and he slaps you 5.

Rifle and owner have been reunited. It was a kimber Montana in 300wsm. Sling, bipod and Nikon black scope. Not just something that one leaves laying around in the woods.

Great sportsmanship on your part, str8meat. You have set a fine example for your family and for all who know you. Good job.

Excellent!

As a cop, I reunited several gun owners with their firearms. Some were very appreciative that their gun had been found.

Others saw their gun with an evidence tag, in a courtroom, and somehow seemed displeased to see the gun they'd tossed!

Weird. I figured that everyone would be happy to see their old gun again!
