I think I've been spending too much time messing around with these rifles.....It came time to put rebuild kits in the toilets here at the house, and what should have been a 10 minute job turned into 30 minutes of me adjusting and fiddling trying to get the "creep" and "take-up" out of the flush handle........But hey, now they break like glass..LOL

I was expecting a different thread and was disappointed to find upon clicking that there were no recently defunct toilets

On the plus side you'll be more consistent now when you flush ;)

I have one in our spare bedroom that leaks through down thru the drain waste, it's a very small, but annoying when you are in there and the float opens for a few seconds. I solved the problem by turning the water off to that toilet, when no guests are present. I do not have the patience to rebuild the inside of the damn thing.

For me, physically removing the old trigger and installing the new trigger is a 10 minute job. I'm overly cautious when adjusting triggers to ensure they only fire when I want them to, so the adjusting process becomes time consuming.
