With much of our west coast ablaze for weeks, I don't know how much play this is getting in the national news, but it's very, very bad in much of Oregon right now.
Our local news is relaying stories of entire small towns cut off and burned to the ground.
Words like "mass casualty" are starting to creep into news stories.
A grim governor mentioning that the fires could be the most costly in lives ever, for the state of Oregon.
Initial rumors of arson in Washington and Oregon are now being backed by actual investigations and arrests.
Washington lost most of the small down of Malden, and much of small Bridgeport as well.
Honestly, it's been so bad that I don't think the authorities know exactly what they're dealing with yet, but they're preparing for the worst.
Thankfully somewhat cooler temps, and a bit of rain is forecast.
I don't know how this may have affected Nosler, in Bend, Oregon, but it can't be good.
