Magnum primers in standard cartridges

I apologize to the OP for rambling. I didn’t realize it, and it wasn’t considerate on my behalf.

100% ok, Joe. No problem here.

My rule of thumb is to use Magnum primers when charge weights get over 60.0 grains in the cold weather conditions I hunt. My first experience of switching from a Large Rifle to Magnum primer was actually from my gunsmith working up loads for the 280AI. I dropped 2 grains and worked up. My groups got smaller . I finalized my load and accuracy was consistently in the .3's.
My go to primer is the Federal GM215GM.
YMMV
