Like when you knock your stainless steel calipers off your loading bench onto a concrete floor. :x

The words 'shock proof" in the face of the dial of your used to be accurate calipers, apparently doesn't actually mean "proof" but instead, resistant.

Guess like they say, stupid should hurt. :oops:
 
RCBS replaced mine the first time I did it.

I now have 4-5 calipers around of varying quality.

I have been there when I dropped my calipers to the concrete when I needed it. Had to wait 10 days for a new one to arrive to resume load developments.
