Bullet diameter of CT Failsafes

I have a question for Nosler. I bought a bunch (400) of the 140 gr CT Failsafes in 270 caliber form Midway (I think). I went to load some today and they wouldn't fit into my Hornady New Dimension seating die (the one with the bushing that aligns the case neck and bullet). These are the non-moly coated ones, by the way. I measured them and they are actually .278" rather than .277". I used my Lee seating die and that worked okay for a nice tight fit. I tried them in my rifle and they chamber well with no tightness. I don't believe the extra .001" will be a problem, other than change my load dynamics and probably POI. If these bullet had been moly coated, I can't imagine what the diameter would be. Is this the standard diameter for these bullets, or did I get such a good deal because they were "seconds". I thought the price was so good because they were not going to be offered anymore after this year. Any thoughts/info on this issue? I would just like to know what I have
