I just got hold of a new in box Ruger M77 Hawkeye RFP SS .223 ( one piece bolt) minus it's 22" SS barrel and having a Krieger 4 groove match grade Rem Var contour 26" SS in 1:9" twist in .222 barrel fitted.
By having the .223 bolt action I can load longer projectiles on the .222 brass of which the Nosler 60gr BT Varmint gives me an OAL of 2.205" (standard .222 is 2.130"), I have read that 22.6gr of IMR 3031 will give a MV at around 3220fps?
Has anyone have load info on this projectile.
