Not much to report I was testing some 220gr Speers I got from Fotis and fire forming some new brass for hunting season.
The Speers were loaded over 67.5grs of RL15 and the fire form loads were 55grs of IMR-4895 under a 200gr Hornady Round nose shot at 25yds and to check the zero after changing stocks. I also reshot my 200gr AB load of CFE as a accuracy control gauge since I changed the stock on the 35 Whelen AI because I thought I might have a bedding problem. The new stock is a B&C Medalist with full action block which was bought for the 7mag since I didn't like the Boyds stock that was factory inletted off center.
The 67.5grs of RL15 chronographed at 2898.3fps. The fire form loads chronographed at 2421fps ( 55.3grs was a max load in Hornady Manual ) The control load 66grs CEF223 chronographed at 2866fps.

And as a special note to Fotis who asked when I originally shot the control load back in the winter, yes it did repeat so it's good to go. (y)

By switching stocks the control load showed me my bedding job on the wood stock was good to go and no problems.

The 67.5 gr 220gr Speer load was shortened from 2.675" to 2.625" to see if group would shrink.
I'm also thinking this rifle prefers CFE223 powder.
In the new Hodgons burn rate chart it shows CFE223 is a little slower than RL15.
