Well after about 50 rounds down range 2 different powders 2 primers and 2 differnt brass. I think I got it.

Peterson brass 50.2 water capacity
H4350 43.0g
135 berger classic hunter
Fed 210
Coal 2.925
22 inch barrel

5 shots at a 100yards. Could some one run quick load and see about where I am on psi and velocity. Data coal is 2.800 I am a lot longer than that@2.925. 43.4 is max charge.

Thank you
Michael

No don't have it yet. Will try to get that done in a couple of days if it will stop raining long enough. I figured I was pretty close on psi. Brass looked good and no hard bolt lift.

You were right I wasn't able to get the rel26 to shoot. Went back to the h4350 and got them to work. I will pop the primers out of this brass tonight and make sure the pockets are still good Ann tight. I know that's right up there at the edge on psi but I think I am going to run it right there. If I am not seeing anything on the brass would you be good with it?

Well was going to get velocity data today TackDriver284 so we could tweek Quickload. Well after 10 years of shooting over it I finally put one into her and she bit the dust! So what are yall opion on a new chrono?

Yeah, don't think you'll buff that out. I have or have owned four Chronys (3 Betas and 1 Alpha). I have an Oehler, which yields excellent data. My favourite, bar none, is my LabRadar. Truthfully, about any of the units on the market today will provide you with the data you need. The Magnetospeed that attaches to the barrel is proving very popular with many people. Prices are all proving reasonable. Eventually, if you shoot enough, you will shoot a chronograph that is in front of the muzzle. I have seen a Doppler unit that lays on the ground and measures the bullet travel over it. It looks great for obtaining terminal ballistics data. Don't know how it works, though.

Hahaha nope that one want buff out! I am looking hard at the magneto speed. I found it on Amazon for 179$ I think it will be the easiest to use.

I run a Magneto Speed Sporter. I love the sucker. My display AV jack did go bad and they sent another, no questions asked. They are a veteran owned small business.. Even a couple Marines in their group, what could be better

That's the one I was looking at the sporter! Any negatives on the sporter any reason to go with the newest v3?

I would imagine you'll be quite pleased with that acquisition. Haven't heard any significant negative on the later models. If I wasn't already invested heavily in other means of determining velocity, I'd be looking hard at that.

I just received the magnetospeed sporter today. Did a practice run setting it up and was very easy. Finally gonna run some of my Creedmoor loads over it this weekend.

It sounds like the magneto speed is probably going to be my best bet for ease of operation. Hahaha and hopefully I want be able to shoot it!!

Ouch, I bet that did hurt. I have been running an Oehler for the last 20 years. It's a great chrono, but a tad expensive. Like the others said the MagnetoSpeed is a great choice.
