Loaded some 129 Hornady SSTs for the little Swede.
Both groups are right under an inch.

Nice. Did you chronograph it also?? The little Swede sure is a great cartridge. The 6.5 Creedmore and some of the others get a lot of ink, but there certainly is nothing wrong with this little cartridge!

Without a doubt, the 6.5X55 is a superb cartridge that punches above its weight!

Love the Swede! Really want another one all the newer 6.5's get all the ink for sure, but the Swede still does the same thing, but for a whole lot longer.

For danged sure Mike. I like mine quite a lot.

Would never sell mine. I bought it for NZ$400, put a Timney trigger on it and modified some of the steel so more user friendly...shoots sub MOA with factory ammo and is more than twice my age!

That combo will be one wicked deer killer. Can't imagine anyone needing more
Just about majic deer load , when above 2700, especially with that bullet.
My Dad used one for almost 30 years on lots of big Maine Bucks, many way over
200 lbs. Never saw one that could stand the impact of that little Sweede !
When loaded up to same pressures as the .260 it has no problem keeping up with its
Bigger case capacity. And can't see how the little Creedmore with all of its hype
Can ever catch it when it's loaded to its potential
I am shooting that same bullet with a charge of RL26 under it out of my Tikka and 2900fps
Is a common number on the chronograph.
Good luck with it this fall! ( I don't think you will need it!)
