I just picked up my first 6.5 Creedmoor. I have one of the higher end Savage target/long range models, and as advertised, it shoots (better than) moa out of the box.

Anyone have projectile, powder and bullet jump data that shoots .5 moa or better at 100? I spend most of my time shooting at 275-400 yds and the round will be used to kill sheep at that range as well. Thanks in advance for any info!

I am shooting 43.0 grs RL 16 with a 140 gr Nosler RDF in a Savage BA Stealth 10 in 6.5 CM. I hold half MOA out to 1000 yards, 2750 fps at the muzzle. my seating depth is 2.740" which is .130" jump. Primers are BR2.

Another very popular load for long range shooters is 41.5 grs H4350 with a 140 gr bullet.

Awesome, thank you. This will give me a good place to start. Is your 2.74 depth to Ogive?
