You have definitely built some interesting rifles. Are you able to give us a peek at the other rifles?

Interesting  have you been able to get them to the range? Photographs of those beauties would be nice .
Look forward to having a gander at them.

Blessings,
Dan

Fascinating assembly you have gathered. The Arisaka is interesting, primarily because few people ever did much with them. They were a strong action that should have given good service after they were brought back to NA.

Thanks for noticing. I built a 308 Arisaka in 2016. I get them confused, but I have labeled my images:)

So I know this is the 257 Roberts in 2017.
I had to fool with the lathe to get it to cut the 1.5mm threads on the barrel tennon.
I put in a Timney trigger [mucho mods to the trigger guard].
I designed a recoil lug and bedded it into the stock under pre compression with the receiver.
I cut Weaver bases to get them to fit the Arisaka receiver.

I did not weld the bolt. That looks like it was done 50 years ago in a professional sporterizing assembly line. The radius of the bolt handle was so tight, I had to order a rimfire Leupold with eyepiece diameter small enough to clear the bolt.

With a Win M70 25-06 take off barrel, I was not expecting great accuracy, but it shot a 1" 3 shot final group when being sighted in at 200 yards.
