Can anyone tell me if there is load data for the 28 Nosler using Barnes bullets in this manual?
I want to use a Barnes 175 grain TSX bullet pushed by H1000 .....I'm looking for the min and max powder charge. I will buy the manual if this info is provided.

Thanks for your time and help!!

What would you consider starting low? Nosler has 75 grains of H1000 for 175 grain bullet

I would do 75 grains and work up in .4 increments to find maximum pressure. Hopefully someone on here has a 28 Nosler and share some data. Data using ETips will work with the Barnes or any solid copper bullet. Other bullets / cup and core would have different pressures from solid copper bullets, so I would work up carefully.

Code:
Cartridge : .28 Nosler
Bullet : .284, 175, Barnes 'TSX' BT 30294
Useable Case Capaci: 85.220 grain H2O = 5.533 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.340 inch = 84.84 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm
Powder : Hodgdon H1000

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 1.0% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

Results caused by ± 10% powder lot-to-lot burning rate variation using nominal charge
Data for burning rate increased by 10% relative to nominal value:

Like others have said use the starting nosler load for the 175 tsx and work up. I have found that a tsx bullet will go 1 to 1.5 grains above a Partition bullet for max pressure.

DrMike,
Would you be so kind to run the same bullet but with Retumbo powder?

Thanks for your time and help!!!!!!
