My brother pick this up last week and brought it over today for me to put some ammo together for him.FC2E4EE4-C54C-4046-8A18-50EFADC49058.jpeg
He bought some .430 cast and I resized to .427 , the Lee dies powder chart had Unique from 7.6gr to 8.6gr so I went in the middle and loaded at 8gr. The barrel is a little rough but I ran a few through and everything works good. He is very happy now , for the longest he has been looking and this came up at a good price. 321EDCBF-5DCB-446B-96DC-F806174D2959.jpeg

Those old war horses can be great fun. Sounds as if you are helping him along quite nicely. Be interested to see how the old rifle works for you.

The serial # 43xxxx makes it an 1907 production. For being 111 years old and able to function says something. How many of these plastic stock budget rifles sold today will be around in 111 years?
