300 WSM Brass

I’m choking on Norma Brass prices for WSM. $2-3/case.

I started considering Winchester, Federal, and Hornady brass. All three best 0.75 and a dollar a case.

Anyone have good experiences with those in WSM sizes?

I've used the Winchester brass with good success. I like it.

I've used both Winchester and Hornady brass with good success in my 300 WSM. Actually, I've never had a problem with Federal brass in that particular cartridge. It just so happens that I have a good supply of Norma brass, so I don't use much of those particular cases at the present. Still, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a bag (or box) of any of them if I was in the market for brass.

Nosler brass blems.

I've used several. I like Nosler cases (Norma) in the .300WSM the best. Winchester and Federal are OK, federal doesn't last as well- at least in my batch. Remington was the worst.

I haven't tried Hornady yet, but I'll give them a try since they work well with my other cartridges.

I tried Winchester brass and out of 50 over half of em had the necks split after only being used once.

I have way too much Winchester if your interested in some. I have 6+ reloads on the stuff I'm running right now.

I use Winchester for my buddy. It seems to really last well for us.
