Here is how the old 270 did with the 130 Tipped Trophy Bonded

I saw a good looking node around 61.6

I put that load on paper and was pretty happy with the first three which were circled.

I put 5 more in there and I believe I pulled a couple out but not a bad deal for it’s first time out. I believe I’ll try shortening them up a little and see what happens. They are .050”off the rifling right now but I’m not sure I’d worry about hunting them as is.

Those pills were definitely stepping out! Very promising. I have some for my 270 WSM which I need to load up and test.

what burn rate would you rate RL26 as compared to some other powders?
it seems like a very versatile propellant.

Looking good...I really wanted to get the 140 TBT to shoot in my 280 but I just couldn't get a load dialed in before hunting season..I have a bunch left and I plan on picking up where I left off testing them.

A little FASTER than RL 25

And RL 23 --- A little FASTER than RL 22

Great looking loads. Lots of speed in the good ol 270.
