First batch was Hornady Interlock 180 gn

RL26. 75.8 should be around 3132fps. Will take me chrono next time. I’ll load up the rest of the box. 71.3 was comparably tight. Grouping 0.6”.

Had a 15-30 gushing 90 degree cross wind, so happy with everything. No signs of pressure.

I’ll probably load up the Hornady befor starting on the 180AB.

That is excellent, Mark. I'm very interested to see what the AB's do for you with RL26. My 300wsm with 180gr AB and RL17 shoots real well, but I have been interested in trying RL26, it works excellent in my 270wsm and 25-06. Let us know when you run that load through your chrono.

Got out with a second batch today. Average speed was 3137fps, SD was 9 fps
QL projected 3132. Amazing is that close!

Temperature was 35f.

Mine likes R-26 too. This was 185yds and measures .297". I shot 2 at 660yds that were just over 1" apart. The axis deer in Hawaii better be scared. We leave Tuesday and next weekend there will be bloodshed. :lol: :mrgreen:

Cool, it looks like it's shooting pretty well for you with some good velocity from a 24" barrel. R-26 is just about ideal for a 300wsm IMO.
