85 grain E-Tip
26.8 Gr of AA-2200
Hndy brass with small primer pocket (Rem 7 1/2)
From the 18" barrel the Average is 2707 fps
Started at 25 gr up to 27.5 gr. Beyond 26.8 the groups started to open up.

That will work, nicely done.

Looks very good, that 85 gr E Tip should penetrate better than you would think and 85 gr bullet would.

Excellent! When you find the right seating depth E-tips shoot very well.

Cool. Looking at that as your deer cartridge?

I haven't messed around with the E-Tips at all yet.

Maybe, but Primarily I hope to use it on some hogs this winter.

I guess I just got lucky..I took the lessons I learned from the TTSX and started .100" off the lands. Being an AR platform, the magazine is the limiting factor.

I suspect those 85 gr E-Tip bullets will do just fine for either deer or hogs!
