Has any one having any great results with the 168 grain Nosler CC in the .308 and Varget? If so, what speed has it been shooting great at?
I have dropped the 185 Berger Juggernauts after using two powders (MR-2000 and Varget) and was not consistently shooting better than one inch at 200 yards as a target bullet.
For the 168 Nosler CC, I loaded up 5 charges of Varget from 43.5 to 44.7 grains with Lapua brass, Fed210M and OAL of 2.840". Hopefully see some great results on my next tryout at 200 yards. I see in the Nosler manual that max charges are 46 grains. I am also using a drop tube to minimize powder crush, but haven't felt any yet. I have pulled the box off the garage shelf after been sitting there a very long time.
